This week, Marine Tech delivered the first bathymetry drone to the French Navy in Brest, following a contract for up to 20 units.
Based on the RSV Dolphin range, the surface drone is equipped with a high-resolution 3D bathymetry system, a programming and mission supervision system with manual and unmanned modes coupled with obstacle avoidance.
At the heart of the Brest naval base, Marine Tech has also provided training for operators from the CEPN (Centre d’Expertise des Programmes Navals), the SHOM (Service Hydrographique et Océanographique de la Marine) and the DGA (Direction générale de l’armement).
Marine Tech thanks once again the DGA, the SHOM and the CEPN for their confidence.
